Jesus said, “I am the living bread which has come down from heaven.
Those who eat this bread will live forever. Now the bread which I will give
is my flesh, and I will give my flesh for the life of the world. Those
who eat the bread which is my flesh have eternal life now, and
I will raise them up on the last day. My flesh is true food; my
blood is true drink. Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood
live in me and I live in them. So my flesh is the bread which
comes down from heaven. It is not like the bread which our
ancestors once ate in the desert – they died, but those who
eat this bread will live forever.”
