One night, Nicodemus, a teacher of the law, came to speak with
Jesus. Jesus said to Nicodemus, “God loved the world so much that
he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not
be lost but may have eternal life. God did not send his Son into
the world to condemn the world; he sent him to save the world,
and no one who believes in him will be condemned.”
